ConProtect DB-50

ConProtect DB-50 is an easy-to-handle liquid concrete impregnator. ConProtect DB-50 is used as a dust brake for concrete and to increase tear resistance and strength. ConProtect DB-50 is a unique non-transparent sealing and waterproofing layer that is solvent-free, non-toxic, odorless and environmentally friendly. The performance of ConProtect DB-50 provides durable protection to concrete against water-borne chemicals. It is a sprayable colloidal liquid that penetrates the surface of the concrete and reacts with the cement matrix to form an insoluble gel that closes the pores, capillaries and cracks, creating a subsurface barrier against the entry of water and salts in the water. As long as water is present, ConProtect DB-50 is active and seals cheese cracks now and in the future. ConProtect DB-50 allows water vapor to pass through the structure (concrete breathes) while waterproofing/sealing the surface against sea water, aggressive ground water, waste water, water and certain chemical solutions.
